About The Nomad Weigh
Hi, we’re Chris and Tessa, full-time travellers since November 2020, exploring Australia with our daughter Ellie and our scruffy dog Sandy.
Chris started his career as a paramedic straight out of high school before serving in the military for a decade, where he gained extensive experience driving and managing heavy vehicles. Tessa is a registered nurse.
Through our combined experience, we’ve seen firsthand what can happen when things go wrong — and that’s where our passion for safety and education began.
Like many parents, once we had our daughter, our focus on safety became even stronger. Living life on the road with our own caravan and truck, we made it a priority to understand our weights and ensure we were both safe and compliant.
During our travels, we realised there was a clear gap in the market — a simple, mobile weighing service that comes to you, without the hassle of going out of your way.
That’s how The Nomad Weigh was created.
